Over the years, we have been advocates of technical trading. Quite simply it removes all the emotions from making plays in the stock market. This is the only way to trade. Emotions and greed are the 2 largest killers of any portfolio.

Throughout the years of studying classic technical analysis, we stumbled upon "the pincher play". It is a technical setup using primarily the PPO (Percentage Price Oscillator) and ADX (Average Directional Index). This setup is used in a couple different fasions to find stock charts that are appear to be priming themselves for a reversal. That's where we want to hit it. This accumulated knowledge of how to find and play the pincher play is then combined with skills of other classic T/A (technical analysis) to determine safe entries and exits into a stock trade. We rely heavily on support, resistance and trendlines in making these informed decisions.

What we have accomplished at pincherplays.com is to bring together some of the finest "pincher" chart players and then coupled them with skilled traders of a variety of other stock trading disciplines. Our team consists of day traders, swing traders, options traders, fundamental traders and long term traders. We have covered the whole spectrum.
